Your mission

The SOC (Security Operation Center) Technical Manager (all genders) is responsible of the definition and management of the cybersecurity requirement in the Ground Segment based on the system security requirement. The SOC Technical Manager (all genders) shall ensure all Ground Segment entities (NCC, SCC,OSS/BSS, GSN) provide the relevant information to the SOC and implement the appropriate mechanisms allowing the Cyber Security Center to detect and react in case of security issue. 

The SOC Technical Manager (all genders) is in charge of defining the Rivada Space Networks strategy for the development of the Cybersecurity solution based on internal or supplier solution. The SOC Technical Manager (all genders) shall setup the operational team and define responsibility. 

This includes:

  • Develop and implement the satellite operator's cybersecurity policies and procedures in accordance with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage and monitor the Cybersecurity Center's daily operations, including incident response, vulnerability management, and security awareness training programs.
  • Lead a team of technical professionals responsible for detecting, analyzing, and mitigating cyber threats to the satellite operator's network and information systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, engineering, and business units, to ensure cybersecurity risks are identified and addressed in a timely manner.
  • Conduct periodic cybersecurity risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and recommend remediation strategies.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with external partners, including government agencies, industry groups, and vendors, to stay abreast of emerging threats and industry trends.
  • Manage the Cybersecurity Center's budget and resources, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.
What you bring on the table
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in cybersecurity management, with at least 3 years in a technical leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and regulatory compliance, including NIST, ISO, and GDPR.
  • Experience managing incident response, vulnerability management, and security awareness training programs.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team of technical professionals.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including IT, engineering, and business units.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex cybersecurity risks and recommend remediation strategies.
  • Security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH are highly preferred.
  • You are willing to travel  
  • Fluency in written and spoken English and at least one other world language
