Your mission
The Cloud Security Architect (all genders) plans, researches and designs infrastructure security within Rivada Space Networks. Security Architect conducts regular system and vulnerability tests and implements or supervises the implementation of security enhancements. He or she is responsible for reviewing and approving infrastructure and domain architecture designs in security perspectives.

 

The Cloud Security Architect (all genders) researches security standards and best practices and compares organisation's security capabilities with competitors. 

This includes: 
  • Collaborate with other architects in researching and designing infrastructure security and IT security architecture within the company 
  • Review and approve security aspects of infrastructure, cloud and IT system architecture designs 
  • Document and address company's security architecture and systems security engineering requirements throughout the system life cycle 
  • Ensure that acquired or in-house developed systems are consistent with the company's security architecture guidelines and best security practices
  • Conduct regular vulnerability tests and reporting 
  • Research security standard, best practices and security systems 
  • Security approval authority for operational security processes (design change request, permission change request, etc.)
What you bring on the table
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field 
  • Minimum 3 years of work experience as a security architect in complex system environment 
  • Knowledge of enterprise information technology architectural concepts and best practices 
  • Experience in designing security solutions for complex system architectures 
  • Knowledge of public or hybrid and/or private clouds
  • Knowledge of firewall concepts and functions 
  • Experienced in multiple security testing methods, such as SAST, DAST, vulnerability testing, penetration testing, etc. 
  • Able to act as a primary liaison between IT / enterprise / infrastructure architects and SOC Team 
  • Following skills are desirable: 
    • Network security groups 
    • Security placement zoning (INT, EXT, MGMT) 
    • IAM, SSO, MFA 
    • System hardening 
    • Remote Access 
    • TLS, zero trust, encryption 
    • Privacy, anonymisation, pseudonymisation

About us

Rivada Space Networks is deploying the first true “OuterNET™”: a global low latency point-to-point connectivity network of LEO satellites. By connecting our satellites with lasers, we will provide resellers and B2B customers with the ability to securely connect any two points on the globe with low latency and high bandwidth. The constellations, comprising 600 low-earth-orbit communications satellites, will represent a fundamental change in the availability of secure, global, end-to-end enterprise-grade connectivity for Telecom, Enterprise, Maritime, Energy and Government Services markets. Rivada Space Networks is a wholly owned subsidiary of Rivada Networks, Inc. 

Rivada is working with Terran Orbital to manufacture and SpaceX to launch our satellites. The deployment starts in 2025 with full-service launch in 2026.
