Your mission
The Cloud Infrastructure Delivery Architect (all genders) is in charge of technical management of cloud infrastructure solution engineering. 
In this role you are accountable for defining, implementing and deploying Rivada Space Networks' Cloud Infrastructure deployment solution based on the Cloud Infrastructure high-level design and requirements.   

This includes: 
  • Accountable for defining and maintaining Rivada Space Networks Cloud Infrastructure deployment architecture 
  • Accountable for the deployment architecture 
  • Accountable for the technical aspects of implementation through to successful live operation 
  • Maintaining deployment architecture documentation 
  • Technically managing stakeholders to deploy and maintain the Cloud Infrastructure 
  • Overall solution delivery responsibility 
  • Technically managing stakeholders, including technical vendor management 
  • Managing technical risks 
  • Accountable for the technical aspects of implementing features 
  • Collaborating with architects, project managers and other stakeholders for technical input to delivery, operations, customer and business 
What you bring on the table
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; or equivalent work experience 
  • 5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure deployment architecture 
  • Very strong with CICD, pipeline automation and DevOps, particularly with Terraform,  GitLab and operational use case designs (like backup, application upgrade) 
  • Holistic understanding of cloud infrastructure building blocks; compute, storage, networking, monitoring, security, automation and inventory 
  • Experience in the following technologies and domains desired: 
    • Open-source software such as Kubernetes, Ansible, JFrog, Kafka, ElasticSearch, Prometheus, Grafana, Kibana
    • AWS, GCP, OpenStack, Hydrid Cloud, Multi-Cloud 
    • Security management / solutions such as NSGs, Firewalls, IDM, Access Control 
    • IT Service Management processes like Incident / Change / Release / Configuration Management 
    • Experienced in setting up cloud infrastructure from scratch Very good communication skills 
  • Able to travel and work in a very dynamic environment 
  • Fluency in English

About us

Rivada Space Networks is deploying the first true “OuterNET™”: a global low latency point-to-point connectivity network of LEO satellites. By connecting our satellites with lasers, we will provide resellers and B2B customers with the ability to securely connect any two points on the globe with low latency and high bandwidth. The constellations, comprising 600 low-earth-orbit communications satellites, will represent a fundamental change in the availability of secure, global, end-to-end enterprise-grade connectivity for Telecom, Enterprise, Maritime, Energy and Government Services markets. Rivada Space Networks is a wholly owned subsidiary of Rivada Networks, Inc. 

Rivada is working with Terran Orbital to manufacture and SpaceX to launch our satellites. The deployment starts in 2025 with full-service launch in 2026.
