Your mission
The Business Process Architect (all genders) is responsible for evaluating, designing, and optimizing business processes within the telecom/Space Network industry. This role involves analysing and improving operational workflows and ensuring compliance with telecom regulations and standards.

This includes:
  • Process Assessment:
    • Document and conceptualize processes(OSS/BSS), including customer journeys, network provisioning, Service Fulfillment and billing workflows
    • Analyse and assess existing business processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement(continuous improvement)
  •  Process Design :
    • Utilize industry-specific methodologies and tools to design and redesign business processes for maximum efficiency and effectiveness
    • Develop process models, workflows, swim lane diagram and documentation to visualize proposed changes 
  • Requirements Gathering: 
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including network engineers, customer support, and IT, to gather business requirements for process improvement projects
    • Translate telecom industry needs into actionable process changes and solutions
  • Optimization and Cost Reduction: 
    • Identify opportunities to streamline telecom processes, reduce operational costs, and enhance resource utilization
    • Implement process improvements to boost efficiency and reduce overhead
  • Change Management: 
    • Develop comprehensive change management plans to ensure the successful adoption of new telecom processes
    • Work closely with teams to facilitate training, communication, and support during process changes
  • Technology Integration: 
    • Collaborate with IT teams to align telecom technology solutions with optimized business processes. 
    • Recommend and integrate technology tools and platforms that support process improvements. 
  • Performance Metrics and KPIs: 
    • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) specific to telecom process efficiency, customer satisfaction, and compliance
    • Continuously monitor and evaluate process performance against established metrics
  • Documentation and Compliance: 
    • Maintain comprehensive documentation of telecom business processes, including standard operating procedures (SOPs) and compliance documentation
    • Ensure that redesigned processes adhere to telecom industry regulations and standards
What you bring on the table
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Telecommunications, Management, or a related field
  • Proven experience as a Business Process Architect or Analyst within the telecommunications/space networking industry
  • Strong knowledge of telecom-specific process modelling techniques and tools
  • Strong experience in designing process solutions for Telecom processes like Lead to Cash, Trouble to Resolve, Concept to Market etc
  • Familiarity with telecom industry regulations), standards (TMF eTOM etc), and best practices
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on telecom processes
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse telecom teams
  • Project management skills to plan and execute telecom process improvement initiatives
  • Proficiency in process modelling and diagramming software, with knowledge of telecom-specific tools and systems

About us

Rivada Space Networks is deploying the first true “OuterNET™”: a global low latency point-to-point connectivity network of LEO satellites. By connecting our satellites with lasers, we will provide resellers and B2B customers with the ability to securely connect any two points on the globe with low latency and high bandwidth. The constellations, comprising 600 low-earth-orbit communications satellites, will represent a fundamental change in the availability of secure, global, end-to-end enterprise-grade connectivity for Telecom, Enterprise, Maritime, Energy and Government Services markets. Rivada Space Networks is a wholly owned subsidiary of Rivada Networks, Inc. 

Rivada is working with Terran Orbital to manufacture and SpaceX to launch our satellites. The deployment starts in 2025 with full-service launch in 2026.
