Your mission
The Product Owner is responsible for overseeing the development, maintenance, and optimization of the software solution used by the organization. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and agile development teams to define, prioritize, and deliver features and improvements that align with business goals and customer needs. This roles involves delivering functionality for CPQ, Partner Lifecycle Management, Sales and Marketing. 
 
This includes:
  • Product Vision and Strategy: 
    • Define and communicate a clear vision for the BSS software solution based on the guidance from the Portfolio/Product Management, relevant Business Owner
    • Develop and maintain a technical product roadmap that aligns with the organization's strategic objectives
  •  Requirements Gathering: 
    • Collaborate with stakeholders, sales teams, and end-users to gather and document CRM/CPQ requirements
    • Prioritize and manage the product backlog, ensuring that user stories and features are well-defined
  •  Product Development: 
    • Work closely with development teams (Agile/Scrum) to plan and deliver BSS software features and enhancements
    • Monitor project progress and ensure on-time delivery
  • User Experience (UX) Design: 
    • Collaborate with UX designers to ensure a user-friendly and intuitive User interface
    • Conduct usability testing and gather feedback to improve the user experience
  •  Testing and Quality Assurance: 
    • Define acceptance criteria for user stories/Technical Stories and conduct testing to ensure product quality
    • Identify and prioritize bug fixes and performance improvements
  • Stakeholder Communication: 
    • Regularly communicate product updates, status, and issues to stakeholders
    • Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and the development team
  •  Training and Documentation: 
    • Develop training materials and documentation to support users and internal teams
    • Provide training sessions or workshops as needed
  •  Analytics and KPI Tracking: 
    • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and effectiveness of the technical solution
    • Use data and analytics to make data-driven decisions and prioritize improvements
  • Compliance and Security: 
    • Ensure that the BSS solution complies with industry regulations and security standards
What you bring on the table
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Business, Computer Science)
  • Previous experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar role
  • Strong understanding of CPQ, CRM processes
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies (e.g., Scrum)
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions
  • Problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Project management skills
  • Knowledge of MEF Product Modelling Standard (Carrier Ethernet) is a plus

About us

Rivada Space Networks is deploying the first true “OuterNET™”: a global low latency point-to-point connectivity network of LEO satellites. By connecting our satellites with lasers, we will provide resellers and B2B customers with the ability to securely connect any two points on the globe with low latency and high bandwidth. The constellations, comprising 600 low-earth-orbit communications satellites, will represent a fundamental change in the availability of secure, global, end-to-end enterprise-grade connectivity for Telecom, Enterprise, Maritime, Energy and Government Services markets. Rivada Space Networks is a wholly owned subsidiary of Rivada Networks, Inc. 

Rivada is working with Terran Orbital to manufacture and SpaceX to launch our satellites. The deployment starts in 2025 with full-service launch in 2026.
