Your mission
The Senior OSS Product Owner is responsible for overseeing the development, maintenance, and optimization of Operations Support Systems (OSS) software solutions used by the organization. This role involves collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to define, prioritize, and deliver OSS features and enhancements that support network operations and business objectives. 
Areas : Order Management, Resource Inventory 
 
This includes:
  • Product Vision and Strategy: 
    • Define and communicate a clear vision for the OSS software solutions. 
    • Develop and maintain a product roadmap that aligns with network operations and strategic goals. 
  • Requirements Gathering: 
    • Collaborate with network operations teams, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather and document OSS system requirements. 
    • Prioritize and manage the product backlog, ensuring that user stories and features are well-defined. 
    • Define User stories, technical stories covering the OSS aspects of Order Decomposition, Fulfillment Workflow process, Service orchestration, Activation, Resource Inventory etc.  
  • Product Development: 
    • Work closely with development teams (Agile/Scrum) to plan and deliver OSS software features and enhancements. 
    • Monitor project progress and ensure on-time delivery.  
  • User Experience (UX) Design: 
    • Collaborate with UX designers to ensure a user-friendly and intuitive User interface(for internal as well as external users). 
    • Conduct usability testing and gather feedback to improve the user experience.  
  • Testing and Quality Assurance: 
    • Define acceptance criteria for user stories/Technical Stories and conduct testing to ensure product quality. 
    • Identify and prioritize bug fixes and performance improvements.  
  • Stakeholder Communication: 
    • Regularly communicate product updates, status, and issues to stakeholders. 
    • Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and the development team.  
  • Training and Documentation: 
    • Develop training materials and documentation to support users and internal teams. 
    • Provide training sessions or workshops as needed.  
  • Analytics and KPI Tracking: 
    • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and effectiveness of the technical solution. 
    • Use data and analytics to make data-driven decisions and prioritize improvements.  
  • Compliance and Security: 
    • Ensure that the OSS solution complies with industry regulations and security standards. 
What you bring on the table
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Business, Telecommunications, Computer Science)
  • Previous experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar role in the telecommunication or networking industry. Space network industry experience would be considered as an added advantage
  • Strong understanding of OSS processes and technology, including Network Management, Provisioning and Resource Inventory
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies (e.g., Scrum)
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions
  • Problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Project management skills
  • Knowledge of MEF Standard is a plus

Rivada is working with Terran Orbital to manufacture and SpaceX to launch our satellites. The deployment starts in 2025 with full-service launch in 2026.
