Your mission
You will be part of the team that oversees the satellite operations preparation and the Satellite Control Center procurement of Rivada Space Networks’ constellation. Your mission is to strengthen our team as a Spacecraft Operations Lead Engineer, taking key responsibilities in the procurement phase and providing support and expertise across different technical teams. You will ensure the planning, preparation and execution of activities in the Satellite Control Center, and will manage satellite operation resources to best meet design milestones and deadlines.

This includes:
  • Lead the Spacecraft Operations activities at Rivada Space Networks
  • Support the design and procurement phases of the project
  • Support the preparation of LEOP, Commissioning and Routine phases of satellites
  • Identification and preparation of flight and ground procedures
  • Preparation of ground segment documentation and reports
  • Support the implementation and configuration of control and flight systems
  • Support SVTs, SOVs and other verification and validation phases
  • Configure and operate satellite simulators
  • Help grow the Satellite Operations team
What you bring on the table
  • Successfully completed a degree in an Engineering discipline
  • 7+ years of experience in Satellite Operations 
  • Experience in Low Earth Orbit Spacecraft Operations
  • Experience troubleshooting, maintaining and operating flight control, mission planning and simulation software
  • Involvement automating spacecraft routine operations
  • Experience in design and development phases
  • Project management skills 
  • Dynamic and pro-active attitude, able to work in a startup environment
  • Fluency in English
