Your mission
You will be part of the team that oversees the procurement of the Satellite Control Center of Rivada Space Networks’ constellation. Your mission is to strengthen our team as a Satellite Operations Systems Implementations Engineer, taking key responsibilities in the procurement phase and providing support and expertise across different technical teams. You will ensure the successful integration of the satellites operational infrastructure and software, and will take ownership of key SVTs, SOVs and operations simulations activities.

 Responsibilities:

  • Together with the SCC Prime, responsible for the integration and acceptance of the SCC Cloud Infrastructure and operational software
  • Generate test procedures for Ground Level and System level test campaigns, including SVTs and SOVs
  • Support the definition and implementation of the testing and validation environment of the SCC
  • Closely coordinate with the Ground Segment and the System teams for the definition, organization and execution of IVV activities
  • Identification of SCC requirements verification methods and execution of verification activities
  • Review and generation of mission documentation, including test procedures, software manuals, and operational reports
  • Participate in the test, simulation and rehearsal campaign
  • Provide operations preparation support for LEOP and Routine Operations
 

What you bring on the table
  • Successfully completed a bachelor’s degree in engineering or computer science
  • 3+ years of experience working in the space sector
  • CI/CD tools integration and operations experience
  • Cloud infrastructure environment integration and maintenance experience
  • Experience managing databases
  • Software and scripting development and management experience 
  • Able to complete tasks per established schedule and demonstrate a pragmatic approach to solving problems
  • Able to travel and work in a very dynamic environment
  • Good communication skills
  • Fluency in English
