Your mission
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Network Software Engineer to join our dynamic and innovative team. You will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining software solutions that drive the efficiency and reliability of our network infrastructure. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of software components and contribute to the optimization and security of our networked systems.
This includes:- Network Protocol Design and Implementation: Design, develop, and implement network protocols that govern data transmission and communication within our network infrastructure.
- Network Application Development: Create and maintain software-defined networking (SDN) solutions for our constellation network.
- Security Enhancement: Implement and improve security features to safeguard the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data transmitted over the network.
- Performance Optimization: Optimize the performance of networked applications and protocols to ensure efficient data transfer and minimal latency.
- Network Management: Develop tools and software for managing and monitoring network infrastructure, including configuration management, troubleshooting, and performance analysis.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with program and operations teams to develop and integrate new features and functionality into the network.
- Problem Solving: Identify and address technical challenges, making informed decisions and finding innovative solutions.
- Technology Evaluation: Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, evaluating their potential to enhance the company's software solutions.
- Leadership: Mentor and guide junior members of the team.
