Your mission
The Control Centre Facility Manager is responsible for managing, planning, and materializing the Rivada Control Centre where the operational teams will be controlling the mission and providing the services. The primary Control Centre will be in Germany, the backup Control Centre in a location in Europe.

The Control Centre Facility is composed by the SCC, responsible for satellite operations, constellation management, and space situational awareness, and the NCC, responsible for the network management and the CSC, responsible for the security operations of the Rivada System. In addition to the SCC, NCC and CSC, management and engineering offices, IT infrastructure, Validation and Simulation environments and logistics tasks shall be considered, preserving the good condition of infrastructure and ensure that facilities are safe and well-functioning. The goal is to ensure Rivada’s business is accommodated free of problem, in time and such that employees can work under the best conditions.
 
This Includes:
  • Manage all aspects of the Control Centres, from requirement finalization, final location definition to planning aspects
  • Interact with internal and external stakeholders to collect quality / operational / security needs
  • Plan and coordinate all installations (e.g. telecommunications, heat, electricity)
  • Plan and maintain equipment and supplies to meet health and European safety standards
  • Plan and maintain activities like parking space allocation, waste disposal, building, security, logistics and others
  • Supervise all facilities staff (custodians, technicians, groundskeepers etc.) and external contractors
  • Allocate office space according to needs
  • Handle insurance plans and service contracts
What you bring on the table
  • BSc in facility management, engineering, business administration or relevant field 
  • Proven experience as facilities manager
  • Well-versed in technical operations and facilities management
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills
  • Good analytical/critical thinking
  • Able to complete tasks per established schedule and demonstrate a pragmatic approach to solving problems
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to travel and work in a very dynamic environment
  • Fluency in English and German
