Your mission
Responsibility for operational quality (= product assurance) in Rivada Space Segment program implementation. Main contact person for cross-project quality topics and tasks. Initiation of necessary preventive or corrective actions in case of non-conformance reports.
 
This includes:
  • Working with the Rivada team and Space Segment suppliers to find an optimal approach to Product and Quality assurance that fits to the commercial needs of the company
  • Guiding, monitoring and assessing the implementation of agreed PA/QA processes and plans by Rivada and subcontractors, as well as assessing their effectiveness
  • Maintaining product assurance requirements across the Space Segment program; assurance of PA requirements at subcontractors
  • Central contact person for quality-relevant topics inside Space Segment program
  • Development, evaluation and coordination of solution strategies to eliminate or minimize risks in the program
  • Reviewing subcontractors’ proposed plans and specifications for the execution of the projects, ensuring that PA requirements are considered throughout the contractual chain
  • Verifying the fulfilment of PA requirements during programme/project reviews and other milestones (PDRs, CDRs, QR, KPs, …), managing the related PA actions/recommendations
  • Preparing audit plans, performing audits and/or enquiries, and managing the related audit/enquiry follow-up
  • Supporting the Space Segment program manager in the coordination of the program development and implementation
  • Representing Rivada Product Assurance aspects in the boards established for the handling of major non-conformances and waivers, and in failure reviews and quality enquiries, test reviews, etc.;   
  • Supporting Engineering in the Requests for Waivers (RfW)/Deviations (RfD) process
  • Analysing and assessing requests for changes (CP) in the design or in the processes (in particular when PA requirements are impacted) in cooperation with System Engineering, AIT and the PMO office
  • Guiding and monitoring the application and procurement of EEE parts, materials and processes
  • Preparing PA and RAMS documentation as relevant, ensuring execution and implementation of related analyses
  • Ensuring monitoring of the manufacturing, assembly integration and test activities
  • Supporting acceptance reviews of contractually deliverable items (hardware, documentation, analyses) and guiding the necessary follow-up
  • Ensuring implementation of software PA requirements using software PA support as appropriate
  • Supporting establishment and implementation of standards and best practices in the product and quality assurance field, in a tailored and pragmatic manner to respect the program targets in particular schedule; 
  • Contributing to the dissemination and implementation of principles and approaches aimed at reducing the development/test time in compliance with applicable standards
  • Supporting Rivada level Quality Organisation in Space Segment matters and overall quality approach
